Lol. Pure Pleasure is awesome, RyanW

Frission, I believe you scare me. I don't know that I wanted any hapless potatoes slaughtered in cold ketchup for this assignment

I love your first picture, Ryan. The old truck contrasted with the reflection of the newer truck in the window is nice. That, and I just love cars anyway

The second one I find funny, because the cars with horns are supposed to be a Texan Cadillac, not a Minnesotan Lincoln.

Third shot's wonderful too. I do have to ask though: GRD3 AND D-Lux 5? Wish I had your budget!

Thanks for the compliments. The GRD was mine, the DLux 5 I borrowed from a friend. I've sold the GRD and am now shooting a Canon G12. I like it but I miss the responsiveness of the GRD or even the Dlux 5. Thought I needed some zoom. Upon reconsidering though, I think my GRD photos for the most part were better. If they made a GRD in 50mm as well as the 28, I think I'd own both and have my small camera needs met. I may pick up a GRD again, I really miss that in a lot of ways. The absolute instant response being the biggest reason.

If Ricoh can bring that attitude they have about the GRD as far as catering to their userbase in firmware and design, the Pentax DSLR's are in for an improvement. I'll bet you'll get back the ability to use screw drive on the SDM lenses after the motor has failed and other little items like that that can be accomplished via firmware.

Ivoire, I really like the four deer pic you've posted.

Here's my last... Stormy event down here... I've gone out despite my cold and took the rainbow. Juxtaposing shades through the spectrum.

The trees, like in every autum, are juxtaposing shades by themselves, from light green to bright yellow.

Here is my third and final. Hope you guys don't mind an architectural juxtaposition again. I do enjoy finding these things when I can... Yale University Malone Center (Left) houses Engineering, while Watson Hall (right) houses Computer Science.

Taken today with my LX-5 at 24mm... I have to say that I am new to this little Panasonic, but it is very quickly proving itself to be a wonderful companion...

Even more great entries! That "what is a point n shoot" question seems to have brought new life to the PnS competition... does that constitute a juxtaposition ie irony??? I'm really enjoying the fine entries everyone has posted.

Yep. 14 different photographers have submitted 38 photographs. I must say that the entries have been impressive.

... Please, ladies and gentlemen, have a thought for Immunogirl, which will have to judge this one. It won't be an easy task, I'm afraid.

I'll be sure to submit absolute tripe, as usual, so she can tick me off the list of candidates early and get a sense that she's making progress in the judging.

BTW, I wonder... "who will have to judge" instead of "which" would be better, isn't it?
