Thanks, no idea about the Freycinet gauge though. Had to 'google' that :ugh:

It's a canal between the town of Eeklo and the Schipdonk canal (between Bruges and Ghent)

Thanks kyteflyer.

chubasco: motion in opposite directions

Lovely shot, samtr87.

Really like your graveyard shot, Ryan. Not sure if the photographer or the graves are moving... Eerie!

Great set from you, kyteflyer. 1st one would be my favourite.

Catriona, your fist entry would be my pick because of the theme. Otherwise, the 2nd would be my favourite

I think the reflections show motion as much or more as the duck's flight.

Nice shot.

Thanks guys... i don't think it's a great shot. It's the motion seen from several arenas that made me post it. and now the 3rd entry with the DMCZS6 :

Immunogirl...My favorite is #1 photo of the car and road... it captures the theme "motion". Great capture.

This photo was taken near rush hour. High traffic zone with 9 lanes to cross. This little person will have to be in fast motion to make it across. He is in the entrance lane for I-4. We had to move around him. Didn't have time to see what happened.

Both photos were taken with panasonic LUMIX
I am using photobucke instead of diviantart this time and the photos are being reduced in size. I attempted to repost twice changing the size. Most frustrating.

Shot this with panasonic LUMIX at a used electronics store "Skycraft" They have everything a geek could want there.
The aliens/moon were hanging on the ceiling with a load of electronics.. I removed the background and placed a simpler one. I don't know if that is OK ... so let me know if I should submit another photo

Some really good 'motion' shots posted so far! TBH, I haven't taken many PnS shots lately, so I'm just digging thru my old files, looking for a few pics of the girls in action. Here's a couple more with a Lumix TZ1:
