Well, considering I am pitching against so many excellent photos, I humbly submit my three entries, all shot with my Pentax X90

Tried to interpret a tricky theme a little differently...

Progression from seedlings to large plants and back to seedlings...
Exp=1/60@f/8, ISO 125, fl=6.8mm (38mm eq)

Geometric Progression of leaves on a Tree Fern frond
Exp=1/125@f/8, ISO=80, fl=4.6mm (26mm eq)

Molehills - showing the progression of the critter under the lawn
Exp=1/1600@f/3.2, ISO=160, fl=7.9mm (45mm eq)

I think we have the most entrants ever in this competition (15). Very fitting for the 50th. Still more time!

I think there may be record-setting film participation in this thread. Hopefully I can get mine scanned and submitted tonight...damn me for not asking for a CD along with it just for this :P

I also have a shot I want to take but I have no idea if I'll have time to set it up. Also, I've been pretty much confined-to-office thanks to the start of the semester at work.

I won't let it go by without an entry though, I can say that safely.

Taken with Pentax A110 and I think the wideangle lens. Kodak 400 print FILM. My first scanning job and first film entry. The file isn't big enough but can"t change it because I have misplaced the roll of negs. . Wanted to enter a Pentax A110 film image in the 50th contest. If I find the negs in time will redo them. Doubtful since I have been searching 3 days. Ouch.
thanks

IN UNDER THE WIRE!

I plan to take one more before the end, but here go two before it's done.

Yashica Electro 35, F/1.7 at what felt like about 1/8th second. Expired Fuji Provia 100F slide film. The actual slide is still on my scanner

Yashica Electro 35, F/22 at what was probably upwards of a minute. Expired Fuji Provia 100F slide film. I set it on my dashboard as I was driving the Capital Beltway.

#3 I stil have yet to take, but I'll try to get it tonight!

JUST UNDER THE WIRE!

Pentax Optio A40, Program mode, 1/4s ISO 100, F/2.8. A good shot of the evolution of the Pentax SLR from 1964 to 1976.
