The 50th is officially closed. I'll post the results after another review of the entries.

OK, here we go! First, many thanks to all the participants, you've made the 50th a success!. I've enjoyed the excellent images presented by all of you. It has been a daunting task deciding on the top three so that is where I'll start.

First place goes to frission. This pic has so much going on in it that when I first saw it, I moved on (perhaps brain overload). Upon review, I was amazed at the ton of progression this image contains; the mirror images in both the mirror and the black car; the line of trees in the car mirror and its progression to the line of trees outside the mirror; the dual reflection of the car with the mirror on the side of the black car; the progression from the mirror car to the black car and the white one out in the distance; the line of guard rails and telephone poles reflected in the car mirror; and finally the text on the mirror itself and its inference.

Second place goes to Mike Cash for his headstone image. I found this to be a dramatic image/reflection of the ultimate progression of human existence. The rows of stark headstones and figures juxtaposed against the one covered in red clothing depicts the colorful progression in physical life and death.

Third place goes to jheu02. This image is hilarious and shows one the clearest lines of progression....... eat the food here and you get gas! Not only is it humorous, but it shows the travelers routine of stopping for fuel for both yourself and vehicle in order to progress on your journey. Additionally, the blue arrow points the way.

And a few of my favorites (which gave me no end of trouble in making a determination) in no particular order:

Congratulations to frission, mike cash and jehu02 for well deserved wins. I look forward to seeing what frission comes up with. Once again, thanks to all!

This P&S theme was sooooo very frustrating for me thus it took a long time submitting my entries. The photo that won 1st place was at the peak of my frustration (grrrr ivoire.) Mid January I still had zero ideas and I was sitting in the parking lot of "Toys R Us" frying my brain cells on what to photograph > when> EUREKA it was right in front of my eyes> "Progression(s)"
Good eye ivoire, I didn't know if anyone would see all the progressions I saw > but you one upped me and caught one I didn't even see!
Congrats to Mike C and Jehu02 for winning and all the others who submitted. This wasn't an easy one to judge. Thank you ivoire for all your time an effort.
This is my first time winning so you all be easy on me (sshhhhhhurrright.) Ya'll too good to make it easy!

Congrats to the winners! This has been a fun contest and when I saw Frission's winning entry, I said to myself "wow, there it is,
let's see if someone can top the progression going on in that one!" Well done, to all three!

Congratulations to everyone on a successful and enjoyable #50.

Thanks ever so much for the second place, which I consider all the fun of first place with none of the subsequent responsibilities of first place. Sort of like grand kids compared to kids....just as cute, twice as fun, zero consequences. I am overjoyed with second!
