Non interchangeable lens and 1/2.5" Type CCD sensor qualifies. Welcome and looking forward to your images. Great to see new participants!

I think that opens up to some interesting interpretation, Ivoire, good one!

And thanks for allowing film! ;o)

Speaking of which, here's my first:

Olympus Trip 35, small zone focus camera, Fuji Xtra 400

Still trying to get a grasp of the theme, if I'm leaving scratch marks, let me know. )

Here's one interpretation: the progression from one action...to the result of that action. Gotta love the south for interesting signs.

That's got to be one of the funniest signs ever! And it fits the theme so aptly.

Thanks to Ivoire for a great set set of rules which is widely inclusive for all, yet still maintains a roughly level playing field. Fair and sensible for this contest.

I was tempted to open it to micro 43 and the nikon v1/j1. Thought i'd keep it 'somewhat' conservative on the sensor/ILC issue and allow the pentax Q to see what interest it generates (there doesn't appear to be a Q contest yet and its sensor size is not a threat).

John, agree about your first entry, hilarious, well-spotted, and totally appropriate!

Kyte, love the first, the wall reflections really add to the comp.

Here's #2 for me.

Progressing 1 step at a time for 131 steps will take you to the top gallery of the Oak Island Lighthouse. Notable in the construction is the "ship's ladder" type stairs instead of the more common spiral staircase. One other construction feature is that the lighthouse, while in three main stripes, is not painted. The concrete was tinted while being mixed so that the entire wall thickness is of uniform color.

Great theme and already all those great entries!

Had to ponder for a while and I'll keep one up my sleeve yet.
