So, perhaps an underwater self-portrait.
Well, no self portrait but a shot of my buddy Mike (who was also my instructor for my OW class last spring)

Which under water housing do you have for your Olympus XZ-1. I was reading up on your camera and was impressed with the photos it takes in/under water. I don't know if there are other water cases but here is one of the sites on the under water housing.> Olympus PT-050 Underwater Housing Review | wex photographic
That's the one I got with my package deal, the Oly PT-050. It's my first underwater camera so I don't have anything to compare it to, but I like the controls - I can access any control from the outside (except the little switch to pop the onboard flash up). With my bulky dry gloves on. So far I have seen no signs of any leakage, maintenance has been easy, and the camera "just works" with it. Ikelite also makes a housing for it, as does Nauticam (both are significantly more than the Oly housing but not sure how badly).

Water was 46 degrees F Sunday - a bit chilly, yeah, especially when your drysuit isn't completely dry... But I still had fun dives.

Thanks! I started a thread for XZ-1 pics over in the non-pentax arena, and put a bunch of Sunday's photos over there See olympus-xz-1-photos-thread

Excellent. I'll post over there too. No underwater from me, but my XZ is my favourite cam at the moment.

Bmonki, your first entry held my attention and gave me thechuckles. Is that man searching for coins?
Love the underwater captures!
Barondla, at the dentist office?... LOL some people were born with a camera attached to their hand!
Congrats to everyone who entered "Something in the Water" .... I am getting very nervous as you made my first time judging a difficult one

I am trying to upload mine to FLICKR as we speak, but my computer isn't uploading very fast...or at all. I don't know why. Rebooted and reset my router but still, nothing.

Looks like I'm a victim of poor technology this month.

EDIT: All of my uploads stall when I try to upload to flickr OR photobucket. Guess I'm out.

Good luck to all the others!
