Saw this on photorumors.com and would have guessed it was a hoax - nope, there it is on the pentaximaging.com website.

wow, backlit sensor, 16 Mp....I'm pumped, I have to see what the IQ is. I carry an Optio W90 right now... I can't wait to see how the backlit sensor performs..

Yeah. I know in my heart that it's supposed to be mud, but it really has a rather unpleasant diarrhea-ish look to it.

I wonder if they fixed that thing where the aspherical lens makes my wife look fat if she's on the edge of the frame. How's a guys supposed to keep any pictures with a lens like that?

I got a screen capture from PentaxImaging.com (yes, it is real and yes, it was still there) and posted it briefly on the Pentax page on Facebook. I took it down though rather than risk a tussle with Pentax legal. I did post it to my FB page so that my friends could see and comment, however.

Now that looks really bad. For a photography company taking photos of their own products, they could've just done away with the "mud" in the studio and just put it on a pile of rough, wet riverside rocks or something
