And for #2.... The conflict is photographing vs driving (was driving at 40mph and shot this without looking at the lcd)

Don't try this at home! Leave it to the professionals.
That makes me cringe imagining the road rash if that bike went down...

It is illegal to use a cell phone while driving, but not to use a camera. However, any distraction that end in an accident, with the consequences attached to it, might result in a charge of reckless driving, and even if difficult to prove in the end, should be avoided as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah, riding like that is a conflict in itself.

In the "Spirit" of Altopiets amazing contribution I hereby submit my third and final contest entry (taken with the XZ1 in macro mode). I trust that the judge will consider the fine artwork and be duly impressed by fact that the beautiful drawing of the face on my right hand was accomplished left handed.... eat that Picaso!

@Ivoire: that's a nice shot. That's how I got an out of focus, noisy like hell (noise being related to the pic itself) 737. D'oh. Now I try not to take pics while driving anymore. I swear I try

I remember I once saw a T-shirt saying " remember when sex was safe & bikes were dangerous". Sure, the guy on the photo has such garments

Sometimes, photgraphs taken while driving are interesting...

And sometimes, certainly not.

Now, sometimes I have to add I feel the need...

...the need for speed. And before you say this kind of stuff is uninteresting, total nonsense or even irresponsible in terms of safety... Well, perhaps, but I was alone along this highway and however, the TGV kept on passing me. Twice.

BTW, this kind of situation appears to me as a "natural" playground of a P&S

very inventive with the hands again, ivoire. Didn't know you were left-handed :ugh:

Me, I often take pictures from the car - when my wife is driving

G.T, if you want speed "without" conflict, a small visit to the German Autobahn is always a possibility.
It's nowhere near as terrifying as taking a taxi in Paris

Bart.... born a lefty but trained to be a righty (some weird 1950's US idea). But i must give altopiet credit for the inspiration!

Edit: I'm going to replace the previous one with one taken with my Canon PowerShot S40, of something that I've carried on me everyday of my life for the past 33 years!
and you are worried about us with cameras!!!! They used to use those while driving in Los Angeles!

Perhaps NeatKnight should have chosen CHAOS as the theme.....

He has been conspicuously absent from the jousting!

It existed in France as well, until the mid-sixties I'd say (sometimes, in remote parts of the country, elder teachers ignored new prescriptions and instead, carried on teaching what they learnt decades ago). Don't really know why... Perhaps because "someone" thought left-handeds were abnormal or something.
Here, they were called "gauchers contrariés" ("antagonized lefties" if my clumsy translation makes any sense).
