My first time here. I hope I understood the theme correctly, and my camera is in order. Nokia N8

I would like to ask the judge to consider the time consuming effort, to first plan and then execute this brilliant drawing, and then all the time I've spent in PS, trying to let the image "pop"

Nice start, everyone! I'm going to do what ivoire does, instead of jumping in right away. I think this time, I am going to shoot for the contest, instead of hitting the archives, so my entries won't come til late. And I'm still looking for the pentax compact that i would want to use.

I like the theme and the entries...... Great Start! Went out today for some fresh pics but nothing really came to the forefront. Will have to keep looking as I don't remember where I saved some of the filed 'contenders'.

This one cost me about $1500.00 (I don't know what the lady was thinking about when she suddenly turned in front of me @#$%^)
Oooo.....sorry, I forgot it was her fault so her insurance paid Nokia N8

Edit: I'm going to replace the previous one with one taken with my Canon PowerShot S40, of something that I've carried on me everyday of my life for the past 33 years!

Pentax optio w60, if you ever watch horseshoe crabs mate, there's a lot of jockeying for position by a bunch of males surrounding a female:

Immunogirl, the second one has some serious conflict going, those ants really mean business; but in the first one I don't get the "conflict", I just see a sevensome
Just kidding, really nice photos!
@Bart and chubasco, some seriously good photos. I like the B+W

Just wait till next time, I'll bring out the big guns. I see this is serious stuff, that require much more than my few dismal snap shots. Just take note, if the next judge make it a "funny contest", I'm going to be p****d off big time
