Good one, Christo.
Even the rest of the tracks left this behind.

A ruin of a cabin on an empty beach, that two counts of abandonment.
Good one, Christo!

Hooooorah! Autopiet, Immunogirl, kyteflyer and GT you have gotten the #54 Point and Shoot "Abandonment" off to an excellent start. I have plenty of photos of the i-4 eyesore "Majestic Building" but I'll have to find something new and different to shoot. This theme is perfect to get out in the back country. Thanks, Bart.

Completely forgot Shepherds Hill: an old radar station from WWII, now abandoned and abused. Ricoh GRD3

I have a bunch of suitable photos, but I can't make my choice yet.

A Setra S100, being laid to rest and rotten in a scrapyard. This type of bus was quite an innovation in the bus market, over 40 years ago.
Optio P80.

Seems as if the people left in a hurry all those years ago, leaving the door open.

Great entry, G.T

True, the open door adds a bit of something (don't ask me what exactly) to the abandoned part of the pic, albeit it would have been better without the fuel tank behind.
I have no merit on this one, I was wandering in a scrapyard, where there are remains of abandonment itself on every square meter

BTW, I googled this morning to ensure I gave the right model on my description) and observed with awe that this month's pics are already indexed.

Great entries... I do like the open door on that bus.

Panasonic zs7 in an underwater housing, forgive the water droplets:

Very nice B&W, Catriona.
Adds to the feel of abandonment, I think.

I agree with Bart. And the droplets are barely noticeable.
I like this half sinking cabin. That will soon be an underwater housing, too

Early morning beach walks are usually good for a topic like this. So, here's two from the past:

Olympus Stylus 1010 at Oak Island, NC

Fuji Finepix F700 at Kure Beach, NC
