Pentax Point & Shoot Competition #56 - Joy!

Joy, celebration, happiness, laughter, fun, etc.. You know the drill! ;-)

I figured we all probably take countless P&S snaps that would qualify, plus we have July 4th and summer upon us, so let's see how much joy we can share!

Also, if you think words help paint a picture, etc, then sharing those words in this challenge won't be counted against you and may even count for you...

The Rules

1. Have Fun!
2. Cameras
No cameras with sensors larger than 1"
No large format or camera typically requiring a tripod to use
No interchangeable lens cameras
No 35mm (D)SLRs or any camera weighing over 1 kg

Cameras permitted (cameras listed as acceptable here supersede rules above)
Fixed-lens 35mm and smaller-format film and digital rangefinder and viewfinder cameras
Interchangeable or Fixed-lens 110 film SLRs and Pentax Q
TLRs, 6x9, 6x7, 6x6 and 6x4.5 Medium Format "Folding", "Box", or "Holga-style" scale focus cameras (subject to 1 kg weight limitation)

3. Entries will close on July 31, 2012. Midnight. EST.

4. Maximum image dimensions are 1024x768 pixels

5. Max of 3 image entries per person, from archives or fresh. Entries may be withdrawn or changed

6. List camera brand, model with entry for all to see, and exposure data would be nice.

7. Post processing is fine.

8. Contest winner determines the rules, selects theme, sets closing date and judges next competition

9. Have Fun!

Especially like that first one, Ivoire, great colors, expressions, and DOF. I'm going to enjoy shooting in square mode, too.

Great contest theme. I hope I can manage to get some images of joy this month.

I have a Kodak Tourist and a Canon AF35ML to break in as P&S contest workhorses.

Unfortunately the screen on my Optio A40 broke...again

and I need to replace it. Fortunately, last time it broke, I ordered 2 spares.
