H3 error in Zoom 90WR

Hello,

I love my film Zoom 90WR despite been quite old. But today, at the beach, while trying to take some pics it didn't work and displayed "H3" in the display. I did some google search and it seems to be shutter failure. It only happened at the longest focal lenght and I was able to take more pics at wider settings.
Back home, the error is getting more and more frequent, to the point that only the widest focal lenght work.
Any ideas or suggestions? Is this the end for this wonderful camera?
I'm taking the roll to be developed later today. I'll report back if it had any issues.

Thanks,

From what I've heard, when this happens it's time for a replacement camera, unfortunately

The manual to the Pentax Zoom 90WR states (page 45, PDF page 49):

QuoteQuote:
6. The [H] or [U] mark is is displayed on the LCD panel.
  • If either mark disappears when the zoom button is pressed, the camera is ready for use. The camera may be defective if either mark appears often.
Off-topic: It's just amazing how Pentax US has scans of virtually all of the old cameras Pentax once made...

Edit: More details on the official website:
QuoteQuote:
Error Code: 'H' plus a number
Description: Shutter related fault.
Remedy: Return the camera to Pentax for repair.

Error Code: 'U' plus a number
Description: Zooming fault.

That's what I fear.
I just got the roll back and glad to report the pics came out great as usual. So when it fires, it fires properly. But I fear its tour of duty is about to end.

Thanks,
