Nice shot off the windshield Ivoire... Cool image... great angle made for a nice perspective... Well Done!

Thanks for the support on the Optio guys! I just hope I can get it running again, it's been one of favorite cameras. How can you not like a camera that takes great pic's, yet is small enough to fit in a Altoids tin? Take it with you anywhere, anytime... I've taken some great shots with this camera. The shot of the Optio below was taken with my X70 however.

Mike

Hey Good News... The old Optio S is alive again!

Many thanks to Anton for the tip!!! It took me several days of searching but I finally found the correct .bin file for the camera over in Paris somewhere and installed it.
Worked like a charm... Good to go!

Very nice entries, everybody!
As usual, I have nothing to post. Boooooh.

Pentax Optio 30.

I'm not very happy with that one, though.

LOVE the dragonfly! How can you get so close with your compact, and not scare them off? I've never managed it. ever. Brilliant.

Thanks kyteflyer. The secret is to live in a cold climate. These are the final days for dragonflies, the remaining few are unusually sluggish. He had a nice spot in the sun and wasn't too keen on leaving.

Well, the old Optio S has been resurrected so I decided to use it to take a picture of an even older camera of mine. This particular camera, a Brownie Automatic from the early 1900's, belonged to my grandmother, who was also a Shutterbug. Thanks to Grandma I have a great many B&W negatives from that time. I have used this 120 roll film camera myself on a number of occasions.

C'mon GT... Of course you can... Heck, I'm sitting here in my chair at the PC, looking around the room at hundreds of possibilities.
