First time in cave with WG-2

One of the main reasons I bought WG-2 was to have pictures from cave trips where DSLR is too much of a burden. One of those was a trip to a 720m deep cave where we had to transport some equipment in and some out of the cave.

-1- Replacing a worn out anchor

-2- Adding an anchor for additional safety

-3- At depth of 300m we had tea time in the light of acetylene lamp

-4- Having a meal in a bivouac that we set up for future explorations

-5- We explored further

-6- And made it to a big room that has to be explored for possible continuation

-7- After 22 hours we saw the light of day again.

-8- A shot of a cave entrance.
I didn't use flash but available light from headlamps (El Speleo, Zebralight H600F, Petzl Duo 14, acetylene) and a flashlight (Nitecore TM11). I find the camera good for documenting cave trips. Compared to having a DSLR I was less tired, less worried about equipment and I still got pictures

Pentax should use your series to advertise the camera. Great series.

Nice stuff! Not many folks will spend 22 hours underground like that... even miners!
Where is the cave located?

Great shots.... I think Ilike things above ground, but if someone else is going to go and take pictures, I'm happy to look.

What can you say... Great shots really! Especially considering the fact that they were taken using available light only. For some reason my attention is drawn to the first and fifth images in particular.
I like the bivouac... just pull up a nice soft rock and relax.
