Wow! Really impressive entries, Sue, Ryan, Wildweasel and Ron!
I must say Sue's first and Ron's triple reflection are my favourites, not taking anything away from the others I mentioned.

Ivoire, Great shot on something worth reflecting upon.

Catriona, tough job

Sue, a portrait orientation could have gotten the tops?
But then, it might have been too narrow.

Wow!!! I had to go buy some Maple Syrup, so I've been away for a few days... You guys have really been busy while I was gone... What a great showing, just outstanding really! I think Catriona is really starting to hate me now.

Great work everybody, keep'em coming!

Thanks ivoire, I used GRDIV for this shots. Set to RAW. The hardest part with underwater photos is getting focus right and whitebalance.

I'm afraid that it will be a long time before I forgive you - some very very strong entries in the last few days.

You can say that again!

Don't worry... I understand, I'll forgive you if you don't forgive me
Of course you could always get back at me by entering something creative in the PP contest

Thanks kyteflyer, I love the GRD. It might not have the best sensor by today's standards. But I like the colours, lens and usability. Actually it's so good I'm having hard time keeping it out of gf's hands.

And yes, I like the rainbow in the first photo, it adds nice touch, not to mention the clouds reflecting in the ocean. I had hard time deciding between this photo and another one...

My three entries, all taken with my Samsung Galaxy SIII Smartphone.

Using the front-facing camera. f/2.8, ISO100, 1/20s.

Also with the front camera. That thing is bloody useful for self-portraits, as you can probably imagine. 1/15 at f/2.8, ISO 1100. Not bad for ISO1100 for a sensor that's probably smaller than the rangefinder patch on an Olympus XA. (The focal length of that lens is an absolutely tiny 2.7mm!)

Click to see a larger version. I"m a bit hamstrung by the aspect ratio and the limit to 1024 on any dimension, but I think the image is excellent. This really represents the SIII's sweep panorama feature well. I chose it for the water reflection on the left and the specular reflections on the right. The SIII doesn't seem to imprint exif data on its sweep panoramas.

3rd Entry

More good images in the past weeks, it's getting tougher!
Here's my 3rd entry, titled "Washington Park".
Taken with a Pentax Optio I-10, 5.1mm (28mm equ.) f3.5 1/400s ISO 80.
