The one from the kaleidoscope program has an impressive feel of depth to it.
Really like the 'painting'!

Judgement Day...

First I would personally like to thank all those who participated.

Making my final decisions here was very difficult. All of the entries were quite good, each standing on their own merit and were therefore worthy. In the end, I did have to choose a few favorites however. So I'll just cut to the chase then shall I...

3rd place was a split decision between Dan's image of the Miners and Catriona's image of the Heron.

The image of the Great Blue Heron taking flight is full of Vibrant Color & Whimsical Fantasy.
The fact that this shot is brought to life from a blurred image only adds to that effect, and it also shows great imagination on Catriona's part.
I really like this picture!

Dan's image of the Miners Memorial is just !!! COOL !!! and that's all I have to say about that.

2nd place goes to Ivoire for his wonderful painted version of the lake.
I think we all really enjoy this image. It makes you feel better just looking at it. It takes you to a quiter, simpler, better place.

1st place goes to Ivoire as well for his original effort, creating this imaginative fractal kaleidoscope world.
I'd say the image speaks for itself, so I'll say no more about it.

Again, my thanks to everyone who participated, and Congratulations to the winners!
