Well, I guess I finally got something. I don't use to photograph food, so it's a bit challenging me...

Don't ask me what comes into that cake. I don't really know. What I'm sure, instead, is it has a great taste.

I really shouldn't look at these pic's before breakfast, I tend to overeat after drooling.

Nice shot G.T.! That sure does look good!

Well, I decided to take an even quicker, even dirtier pic...

Food in its inglorious mass-market layout. And to some extent, not that appealing.

Food, food, lying as a stack,
Food, food, I'm gonna eat a full sack.

A more mondaine take on food perhaps but very real-worldly.

And think what can become of it: coq-au-vin, vol-au-vent, bouchées à la reine, etc

Yes!!! Or even simpler, fried with a handful of chips.
BTW, cooking a coq-au-vin is a great way to dispose wine surpluses, isn't it?

Apparently I hardly ever take pics of food either - my cell phone seems to do horrible food shots.

But eventually I did fine the Chocolate Yoda - with his ears still in tact:

A clown and a rooster...

Breakfast on the beach:

And finally, not a submission since not many people are certain these are actually edible... But a hot dog:

MMMMMMM... chocolate! but #2 is my favorite. The 'great bundini' is cute but unappetizing (and i bet it bites back)

Great entries, Catriona.
The chocolate Yoda certainly gets my vote!
And my respect to you for being able to keep it long enough intact to to take its picture

As for the "hot" dog, I think I'm one of those that question the edibility - even from those that don't bark
Hilarious shot!
