Wonderful, Sue. I especially like the combinations shadow/reflection.

My third entry, also MX-1.

Really inviting scene, Joe.
I would love to follow that trail.

I recently got the Oly EPL2 (like it a lot). i now have a vf3 (sold the vf2). since i only use it when i can't see the lcd in bright light it is working out very well. If you go for the vf3 you will have $s for another PnS.

The Q is a keeper as well as the samsung tl350
I considrered the Q10 but have dismissed it now for the same reasons as I'm returning the F770 tomorrow morning. I think I really want a VF that is built in to the camera, so I'm really down to the X-20. Its got a bigger sensor, and the VF is big and bright, has an info overlay as well as a focus indicator... all stuff you normally find in an EVF, but its an OVF (and TTL, like our SLR/DSLRs) and it zooms with the lens. I've pretty much decided I want that, its just a matter of whather I can justify retaining the XZ as well (mind you, it wont sell for much!)

Entries 1 and 2:

Light and Shadow, I was going to convert this to B&W but I think the Real-Life-Monochrome thing works here. Taken with Sony RX100, Aperture priority, 1/400s ISO 125 F/4.9, 37.1mm (100mm equivalent).

Goodbye, Jack. 1/100s f/2.0 ISO 125, Aperture priority again with Sony RX100. After leaving my floor jack out in the rain, I noticed this pattern of seed pods and leaves underneath that had been washed there by the water. It was a reminder to me that not all shadows are about blocking light.

There's still a few days left for shooters to come out of the dark and into the light to capture some shadows.

3rd entry - Panasonic FX500.

This month has been characterised by the absence of sunlight and hence natural shadows.

So, from the archives. Freshly converted though

... to say the least.

Shadowmen Carrying The Golden Leaf

Pentax Q with #01 prime. Taken before all the firmware updates. So it was tough to get the camera to focus. Now it would be a lock.
thanks
