I bet you will have one some day. You are already eyeing the MX-1. Olypmus just got there sooner. Hope you join us for many more contests.
thanks

Thanks, and *shoosh* . LOL.

It might be sooner than I would think except I recently bought not one but TWO Nikon 1 cameras. So... maybe not (although, I did drop the OLy a week or two back... on its open lens... and with the VF-2 attached... luckily everything still works). I just decided to put in the FZ shots this time round, because I had been so horrible to it for so long

Hmm, "Anything"... OK, I'll toss in 3 from the little Oly XZ-1

Jim

One below sea level - one of my favorite dive photos, from our week in Kauai a couple years back, and my close encounter with a Green Sea Turtle:

One at sea level, from a little local exploration trip with the wife and dawgs, to a local lighthouse (the oldest in the state), with the unusual name of Point No Point.

And finally, one from way above sea level overlooking Lake Yellowstone in July...

Shot during a sailboat race from a friends boat that I crew on, I had some time while sitting on the high side to shoot a little. You need a retractable lens camera during races because things can get ruff and wet and my small Canon sits in a belt case out of the way. I use my old Canon SD990 as a sacrificial camera when I don't want to damage my Q. f8 1/500 sec. ISO 80 second shot also the SD990 f2.8, 1/6 sec. ISO 640

My employer rents the offices in an old mansion that has been modernised to accommodate small businesses.

Makes for some interesting photo opportunities.

Hello!

I really don't know what to post. However, that... that was up around the bend.

Old point-and-shoot Pentax Optio 30

The simplest Pentax point-and-shoot cameras have amazing capabilities: these photos were made in very low light, with no preparations, no tripod.

Camera: Pentax Optio 30 3.2MP

EXIF: ISO 64, F2.9, 1/30s, 0 EV, auto exposure, spot metering, macro mode, FL 5.8 mm, contrast soft, everything else - normal.
Post-processing in GIMP, minimal: crop, scale, some levels, unsharp.

1. Sun coral, at the bottom of the large low light aquarium
2. Red finger gorgonian, in small aquarium with 9W of daylight CFL and 9W of 4300K CFL.
3. Christmas tree rock, in another tank, better light conditions, mixed color temperatures: some daylight on the back and common shoplight with daylight bulbs.
