Hi all, it's been a while, but let me try to inspire you to greatness with this quick edit...It's been so long, but this time I actually remembered to make notes of what I did I used Zoner PhotoStudio 15, did a little bit of exposure adjustment with Levels, on to my favorite sharpening tool, Focus Magic for sharpening at "2"...on to Topaz Adjust, preset Vibrant Collection-"Spicify"

The second one, a bit more of a dreamy look, with the background not as prominent, same steps, except for the last one...replaced that preset with the programs own preset "Lomo"

Thank you, Christo.
We are all doing well.
I think you have me confused with someone else though: I don't have someone named Zion in my family

Sorry Bart, it's Todd I'm thinking of, just show what kind of year I had😁 But it's good to hear it's going well on your side. I should really try to take more time to join you folks...too much of my time has been wasted lately, following the never ending FF and other fruitless debates going on, I could've spent my time better. Next month is very busy for me, being in retail, but I'll definitely try getting more involved next year😊

Nice work Christo!
You definitely have some really cool tools at your disposal... I can't tell which I like better.

It's truly amazing to see what you folks have done with such a drab image! Nice work by everyone so far!
I can see already that this is going to be much harder to judge than I had originally anticipated.

OK... This one was REALLY, REALLY, REALLY hard to judge, but in the end, a decision had to be made.
Outstanding work from everyone! A big thank you to all those who participated, job well done!

Alrighty then...

When it comes to 3rd place, I'm calling it even... Christo's wonderful use of hard contrasting color was a real eye popper! Then again, Todd's hard edged B&W was also jumping off the page, demanding attention.

Trying to decide which image would take 1st place was really tough, but in the end I decided to award 2nd place to Bart for this fantastic image!
Bart, I actually used this same effect on several of the images taken that day. Of course, I didn't have a PC way back then, it was all done in the darkroom with a Beseler 23CII XL Dichro Enlarger and some chemistry.

OK, onto No.1.... 1st place goes to Edith for this fabulous effort! I feel this was the best rendition for this image, it really captured the mood, and the spirit of the moment.

Congrats to all, and thank you again for participating!

Your up Edith!

It was a great image to work with, Mike! Thanks, for hosting this round.

Congrats to Christo, Todd and Bart , all your renditions were awesome!

I didn't see a win coming my way, at all. Most likely, it'll take me until tomorrow to plunder the archives and get the next game going.
Hope, to see you all soon!

Thanks,
Edith
