Oh wow - All very strong entries early on in the contest.

My entries - taken with a canon d10, panasonic zs7 or an optio w60

And another pic that doesn't count in the competition, but just 'cause I had a hard time limiting myself to 3 for this topic:

Wonderful entries, chubasco!
Great perspective in the museum. The b&w is a very original image. I like the light in the bottles.
Love the mood of the abandoned house! very melancholic.

Albeit not that good.
I have crawled through my archives and found two errr... possibly suitable pics. Oh my.

'cause yeah, castles in northern France are mostly made of red brick.

And my last entry: a collection of windows.

Taken w/ Optio 30 and Optio P80.

These do remind me of France, G.T!
Both the castle and the Peugeots

Not something I usually do, but I do have one from the archives that I like, chromatic aberrations and all... Taken looking out from the second story of an old abandoned farmhouse along the Nebraska/Kansas border in 2008. Took a bit of a break from my Bambi-watch to shoot a few frames with my trusty little Canon A80. I like the silhouette effect on this one. Shortly before sunrise, as I recall it was cool but not particularly cold that day (in the 20s - F)... Fun trip, tasty results, some good pics!

Jim

I also like the silhouette effect, Jim!
A b&w conversion would take care of the purple fringing.
