It really is a great little street camera, with surprising quality. I'm happy with my purchase and I paid more than the exceptional deals on right now.

Hmm, B&H is showing the MX-1 as discontinued. It might be on its way out soon.

I suspect that its ill be discontinued soon and that is why prices are down so much. That seems to be what happens before every pentax camera discontinuation.

Wish it was the silver color! But at this low price, I just might not be able to resist the all black model.

I bought the silver, and while I think it's much more attractive than the black, I did find one problem I had not considered.
The first time I took it outside in the sun, I was almost blinded by the sun reflecting from one of the facets. I simply couldn't use the camera for an hour after that due to flash burn.
(One other note, the black will show the brass much better when edges start to wear)
