Ok... so... my first contest here. This is fun

First 2 shots are from MX-1 (seems like a very popular camera here

). Third is from Olympus 35RC shot with Ilford FP4+

Here is my very first contest. All pictures were taken last August, with Nikon CoolPix S630.

1/55 sec. f/3.5 ISO 96

1/220sec. f/3.5 ISO 64

My MX-1 is my preferred camera for hiking in the region. I enjoy its versatility and ease of use.

Great contest everyone. Love the variety and number of images. A very difficult contest to judge. Looking at all the pictures made for an enjoyable Sunday afternoon.

3rd place: ivoire - "Toy Man". So many stories in this image. Great portrait.

2nd place: Mr. Bassie - "Lunch - Please". Incredible interaction between the subjects. You can tell what the dog is thinking. Super capture.

1st place: GateCityRadio - "Twilight Cityscape". Lovely photograph, with superb technical quality. Details keep popping while studying the image. GateCityRadio, coaxed maximum quality out of a compact camera. In a situation that usually favors a non compact camera. Well done.

It is now up to GateCityRadio to set up and run contest #79.

This contest saw a lot of new participants. We enjoyed your pictures. Please enter again. We also had film users. Thank you for doing the extra work to enter film based images. Great contest everyone.
