| New Camera
I have just purchased a Pentax X-5 Camera. Is there anywhere that I have to Register it?  | |

Welcome to the Forums!!!! Keep your receipt!!!!! Put it in the box and put the box up on a shelf - this way, you will have both together (and don't throw it out). If something goes wrong, callThey will tell you where to send it (along with a COPY of your receipt) - actually they will have you send it here where they do all of their warranty work. They use to have a registration process, but actually this is simpler. So, go out and take pictures and enjoy - then post some here.....  | |

Don't let that last post imply you have a camera waiting to break  just the voice of experience with good emergency advice!You can go to ricoh online and register the camera there, here's the link.
