lots of stairs to climb ... MX-1 is the choice

I love exploring the old grain elevators, and today had the chance to take a tour that took you to the top of one of them.

A nice crowd showed up of about 40 people and after separating into two groups we headed up. The trip led us up 10 flights of steel stairs, to a circular staircase, and finally up a rickety steel ladder to the top floor. The view was spectacular facing the lake.

The tour was about two hours long, but I could’ve stayed there all day exploring if they allowed it . At the end of the tour we were given a nice lunch at the bottom, right next to the Buffalo River. Met a few nice people that share my enthusiasm of old “Buffalo” and photography.

Cross posted from "photo share" forum.

Aye you and me both, especially those derelict internal shots that just beg to be photographed.
