I love exploring the old grain elevators, and today had the chance to take a tour that took you to the top of one of them.
A nice crowd showed up of about 40 people and after separating into two groups we headed up. The trip led us up 10 flights of steel stairs, to a circular staircase, and finally up a rickety steel ladder to the top floor. The view was spectacular facing the lake.
The tour was about two hours long, but I could’ve stayed there all day exploring if they allowed it . At the end of the tour we were given a nice lunch at the bottom, right next to the Buffalo River. Met a few nice people that share my enthusiasm of old “Buffalo” and photography.
