I have substituted my first entry with an image from my visit to Ghent yesterday.
Edited in my original post.

I haven't been over here in a while. I've been battling depression for some time and it really zaps my creative energy. I do try to grab the MX-1 when I think of it just in case I am inspired. It is so handy and really can perform. Here are three shots from the past month or so.

Must be in a portrait mood...

Keep up the good fight, Joe, and keep posting your wonderful captures, too.

I lost my Mojo after shooting a wedding with my son, this past June. I have always used photography as my escape from stress and when I had to do it under pressure something snapped, I guess. These represent a victory of sorts since I actually charged the battery and took some pics. Taken with the now old Panasonic FZ150 at a campsite of our local Lake.

Thanks for your good thoughts Edith. Glad you are "snapping back". The second shot is magical.

Thank you, very much, for your kind words, Bart and Joe!
The second one is the result of an experiment with the in camera sunset filter.
I was showing my cousins all the bells and whistles on their camera and then got curious of what I had under the hood of my own.. playtime ensued...

These are all with the Pentax MX-1. I don't use this camera very much, but when I do I am amazed by what the little sensor in it can do. Its a great alternative to a DSLR when you want to travel light.
