From the review of MX-1 on this site, it says that we can set auto-ISO in M mode to give same functionality as in Tav mode. Somehow I am not seeing the auto-ISO function with my MX-1. Has anyone seen this issue? How can I enable auto-ISO in M mode?

Press the ISO button (down on the 4-way pad) and select first box, which corresponds to auto iso. You can also set the maximum iso that the camera will choose, but not the minimum.

What is strange is I only see one ISO box in M mode, and it's the fixed one and not ranged one. Does anyone else see this? Could some setting affect ability to choose auto ISO in M mode?

I see the same thing -- can't select auto-ISO in M mode. It doesn't seem like there's anything in the settings that would allow it either.
