I love the water, spent 20 years in the navy, and grew up in Sandpoint Idaho that sits on Lake Pend Oreille, largest and deepest lake in Idaho. So, to that, I would like pictures depicting water, from a mud puddle left by the rain, to streams, lakes, oceans, swamps, etc. Judging for interesting comps, be creative!

RULES (as per usual):

1. Have lots of fun!
2. Cameras:

No cameras with sensors larger than 1".
No large format or camera typically requiring a tripod to use.
No interchangeable lens cameras.
No 35mm (D)SLRs or any camera weighing over 1kg.

Cameras permitted (cameras listed as acceptable here supersede rules above):

Mobile phones, old and new, iPods, tablets, toy cameras.
Fixed-lens 35mm and smaller-format film and digital rangefinder and viewfinder style cameras.
Interchangeable or fixed-lens 110film SLRs and Pentax Q.
TLRs, 6x9, 6x7, 6x6, Medium Format "folding", "box", or "Holga-style" scale focus cameras ( subject to 1kg weight limitation).

ANY CAMERA BRAND ALLOWED.

3. Entries will close on November 30th, Sunday at Midnight CST (USA).
4. Maximum image dimensions are 1024x768 (ish) pixels.
5. List camera brand and model with entry for all to see, and exposure data would be nice.

6. No restrictions on when the entries were taken.
7. Contest winner determines the rules, selects theme, sets closing date and judges the next competition.

8. Enter up to three images, however you may change your entries as many times as you like up to the contest closing date/time.

9. Feel free to post a shot ( not judged) which shows off your setup.

That's just plain out beautiful, Erik!
This has given me some incentive to try some in camera processing with my Q.
Which C mount fisheye did you use, if you don't mind my asking?

First photo was taken with a HTC sensation smartphone, through the windows of a moving train, during sunset.

Second was a golden sunset at a really beautiful forrest with lots of small lakes close to where I live (photo taken with Canon IXUS 115)

Third photo was at a bigger lake about 10 kilometer from my place, I got up at 4am to cycle to the lake and capture the sunrise, only to get lost and miss the sunrise completely. This tranquil image helped me nurse my bruised ego for getting lost (photo taken with Canon IXUS 115)

A muddy, Smokey Hill River, taken from a moving train as it crossed the trestle.
The Panasonic FZ150, in auto mode, did a remarkable job with focusing in such a situation .

This is an old post of mine from this thread, :

The CS-lenses I bought were all for 1/3" sensors and varied in price between
US$ 9.63 (zoom 3.5-8 mm), US$ 8.99 (f1.2/4 mm) and US$ 3.50 (the f1.2/2.8 mm fixed focus)
so I don't think it will be cost effective for me with the lenses I own to use your solution.
For now I'm using my 1/2" sensor size f1.6/2.8-12 mm C-mount (US$ 44.50) for manual almost fishy wide angle stuf.

I'm also going to try out board mount [12*0.5]. I've seen a f1.6/2.8-12 mm for US$ 10.10!
This lens looks the same that I paid 44 bucks for in C, except sensor size which is 1/3" for the cheapie.
It's a super nice post though, and if I get something more interesting in CS
(shorter focal length - I'd like something in the one mm range...but I'll try a door eye next, methinks...)
