Ok, saw it via the link but in your post there is just a small box with a ? in it. You might want to try uploading it to your post again so that it's easier for people to see it.

Here's one from a true Point & Shoot, a Kodak #2 Cartridge Hawkeye Brownie Model C (manufactured sometime between 1926 and 1932). You point it. You flip the shutter lever. You pray the photo comes out alright.

One from an almost P&S, a 1971 Konica C35 Flashmatic (compact 35mm rangefinder with full auto-exposure):

And one that is by no stretch of the imagination a P&S, a 1956 Aires Reflex YII twin-lens reflex:

Mike, wonderful shots.

Here's some taken with my Kodak DX7590, it's a workhorse.

I took this to show someone how small the little red delicious apple was.

And this one is the typical Kodak colours.

There are times when you go somewhere and you just don't want to take your expensive SLR. The pics below are from just such a place. These shots were taken inside the Reed Flute Cave, near Guilin, China. We were told before entering the cave that it was very wet inside and there would be water dripping from the roof of the cave. So my K100D stayed on the bus, and these shots were taken with my Canon Powershot S60. It turned out the guide was correct, there was water dripping from the roof of the cave and it was quite wet inside, there was even a small lake in the cave. Exposures were between 1 and 3 seconds for the following shots. I can't say I liked the multi-colored lighting - but sometimes you have to take what you get.

Here's a couple that were taken with my Sony DSC-F707. I love my K10, but the Sony is still a better vacation camera, IMO.

My submissions

I almost forgot about the p&s contest but then I saw it in a sig line and was reminded. I don't see a date restriction here, so I am going to post a few of my favorites.
First up a hummingbird shot with my Panasonic fz30, a bit over sharpened for my current tastes, but I couldn't find the original file to fix.

A bee from the Panasonic FX01. I love the dof of these wee cameras for macro work.

The last shot is from the Panasonic fz20. I don't have the pleasure of seeing these Hooded Oriole's very often. Maybe a half a dozen times a season. But this one gave me time to snap a shot that I was quite pleased with. If I do see them, they don't hang around!

One thing I don't miss with shooting with the panasonics is the noise! ;-)

Taken at Texas RenFest with Yashica-24 TLR, handheld @ 1/15

Same camera, around an old caboose

This on is from a P&S. Actually, a 2x3 Graphic with roll film back. Lens was a 80mm B&L and used the the distance scale for focus.
