Unfortunately I do not have MX-1. I've waited a long time for the Pentax MX-2 with 1 'matrix. Then I bought a lumix lx100 and sold it. I do not have a compact camera now. But I bought an old Penatx K5IIs a great camera

The MX-1 is a a great little camera. I am very pleased with mine. I got it when they were out of favor. Cost me $220 brand new. Today if you find a new one they are close to list price.
I payed a similar price new. Don’t know what to replace it with, considering the lens and the size. It’s still my main camera, I don’t want to carry heavy stuff.

People use 1000$ iPhones and Samsungs instead of a camera. I can’t understand, this MX-1 is so much better.

A few from the last few weeks. First photo is Devil's Tower in Wyoming as seen from a rest area on I90. No UFO's in evidence. The second is a B1-B Bomber. Also known as "the Bone". It carries 15 times the payload of the B17 bomber from WWII and even a bit more than a B52. The third one is a B29 bomber. It had a 20,000 pound payload capacity. It was a difficult plane to fly and was plagued by serious engine problems. The known problems with the plane were what necessitated the capture of Iwo Jima.

The aircraft photos were taken at the South Dakota Air Museum located at Ellsworth Air Force Base. We visited the museum in 1991 during a family vacation. 10 years later one of my sons was stationed there as an air traffic controller while he was in the Air Force.
