I love the shot of the goose. Today, while walking at lunch, I passed by a Canadian goose who was starring me down pretty severely as I passed by him/her at a distance of about 10 yards....Its impressive, how intimidating they can be when they have decided to stand their ground.

Nice thread to revive. You prompted me to pull my MX-1 off the shelf. I'd shot a lot with it last year, then put it aside while indulging an obsession with the Q system.

Getting reacquainted now, I'm remembering what a nice camera the MX-1 is to use. It may not be the perfect tool for absolutely every purpose, but what it does, it does very well, and is the only cam I own that has an articulating screen to encourage those high-up and down-low perspectives. I'll see what I can do with it this winter.

Thanks Sluggo, the articulating screen was a revelation, I wish I had it on my D7200.

You can also hand it to a total stranger to take a photograph of four Pentaxians all gathered in one place. It is a great little camera.
