up in smoke ...

One from a few months ago ...

Slow day at clinic, so my students and I had a little fun x-raying objects. Radiograph of a light bulb and smoke from an incense stick composited into one image.

Nice start, guys!

I managed to get out of the house yesterday, and here's the result. I opted for Hipstamatic on my phone, rather than a "real" camera, I'm enjoying it, lately. final size reduction and edit done in Acorn on the Mac. I'm leaving Photoshop behind.

Sometimes, CCD seems to give results that have something more.

And since I'm competing with all of y'all who have much larger sensors, at least I have that going for me
