Out of the ordinary image. Absolutely fantastic. OF DID YOU FOOL ME AND USE AN APP TO ACHIEVE THIS UNUSUAL PHOTO?
Not an App... Picture is a crop of about 1/4th of the full frame, then with the help of Corel Photo Paint, I masked out the locomotive and kids; applied a 20 pixel feathering to the middle of the mask zone. Finally applied a 40 pixel motion blur effect to the "outside" of the mask. Blur motion was oriented 30° from virtual horizontal (0°), following coaster's downward direction.

Whole operation took less than 5 minutes from pick-crop-mask-feather-apply blur-resize-upload...

I especially like your first one, with your grandchildren.
Me too! Looks like a good job of panning to keep the subject in focus and blur the rest.

Taken with a Panasonic DMC-FH20 off the side of the road in route to the White Mountains. I am sure it could be made better with some software but this was taken before I even knew what ISO was years ago so I enjoy it for what it is, luck.

I took this some years ago with a Canon Powershot G9, a camera I still own and use occasionally when I'm feeling a little nostalgic.
