Great collection of photos from everyone. The open theme is always a treat.

Remnants of Winter

My dog Peaches and I went for a little walk on the warm and sunny day and noticed this old cart.
The shot was taken with my Q and the 01 lens @ f/5.6, ISO 125, 1/1000 sec. Processing done in Silkypix and finishing touches in Photoshop.

The second picture was edited in "Perfect Photo Suite 9". Very interesting program.
I have not yet updated to Perfect Photo Suite 9, but you are right ...I really enjoy the program and I think you needed to brighten the shadows on your shot. I often use the "HDR natural" filter to open up shadows, but will use the mask to ensure only those subjects (such as the cart) are affected.

This photo was taken at a 'roller disco' fundraising event for a local community market. That's my girlfriend showing off her roller derby speed.

Very nice panning/blur effect. Love the 60's look!

I love the 01 and the 06. Just wish the 02 was as sharp.
