Thank you. Within a few hours they were already shriveled up and gone.

Nice shot. The light has some of the feel of an impressionist painting

These are all excellent shots congratulations to everyone! You all made my job difficult, and that is a good thing!
Thank you to all those that participated.

Congratulations to Bart, I really liked the atmosphere and feeling that this portrays. A big fan of sunrise and sunsets that I am.
1st place

Runners up:
08amczb - i like the scale and how this one really pulls you into the shot.

77tbholmes - a budding photographer and a great one at that! Great composition.

Jacquot - a fine landscape that I am partial to as it evokes feelings of home.

Thank you, Tom! I'm really honoured!

Thanks, Jacquot.

My congratulations to all the participants & especially to 08amczb, 77tbholmes and Jacquot!
A fine competition this was, showing off the possibilities and the versatility of the humble point and shoot.

I've opened the next installment here: Point And Shoot Competition #91 - Glorious colours

Hope to see you all over there.

Congratulations everyone and thank you for this competition. My young daughter was excited by how she did and was quick to show me some of her new creations on a old S3 she has been using. In the next few weeks I am going to take her out with the K3 and K3 II for some Dad and daughter time and your words are really inspiring her to push her skills. Thank you all.
