Point and Shoot Contest #8

Welcome to the 8th point and shoot contest.

rules of entry.
1. Any camera OTHER than a SLR/DSLR is eligible.
2. Entries will end in 3 weeks on Tuesday July 1st. Midnight Eastern Standard Time USA.
3. Maximum image dimensions are 800x800 pixels.
4. List camera brand, model, and forum name with entry, for all to see.
5. NO THEME! Post any subject.
6. Maximum of 3 photos per photographer.
7. Post processing is fine.
8. Winner will setup and judge next contest.
9. Remember to have FUN.

Pentax Optio WPi. No postproccessing here. Straight macro shot with ambient light (strong sunlight) full frame.

Thank you Sir! I don't have great landscape sites as you do, so I must look at the smaller things.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. I'm happy with it and it enlarged pretty well too. I had that done straight out of the camera so the blue of the sky was almost non existent.

Hey, to take that much contrast variance and not wash out is quite an accomplishment.

Well it is a P&S so unfortunately it's all down to the camera. All I did was pay for the plane tickets.

Just to join in the fun.

Canon DIGITAL IXUS 400

Storm coming...after taking this photo the camera LCD spoiled..not sure whether due to static or it just nicely when dead...

It sure left you with a great last image though. It never did recover after this shot? Bummer!

I send it to the service centre and glad they change something inside..not sure what is it thou' and working fine now. =]
