Had a clear sky the other night and I took this quick shot of the backyard. Really looking forward to taking the Theta S out to "the country" to get some proper night sky shots, maybe a little Milky Way action! I was really impressed with the white balance here. Although in Manual mode you can select shutter speed, ISO and WB (the aperture is fixed at f/2 as I understand, but correct me if I'm wrong!), I set the shutter to 1/13, ISO at 100, and let the camera select the WB. I'm pretty impressed with the results!

I think I'm going to do more B&W with the Theta as it helps mask some of its limitations. Here's a shot in color and B&W:

You're probably right, but I am pretty addicted to color. B&W adds kind of a classic/timeless ambiance to the image, which is particularly intriguing for an interactive photosphere, which is so clearly a modern invention. :-)

I just started following you on Instagram. Do you ever use the Theta+ app to make the tiny planets? I am pretty much addicted to those right now.

My selfie stick (and mini tripod) should be delivered tomorrow - I'm looking forward to utilizing those to explore new, exciting angles! :-)

You're doing some cool things with the photosphere - nice abstracted backgrounds with the fishing poles and stuff. I've did some this summer but haven't done much since. I actually ended up with mirror balls more often for some reason

Now you're getting the hang of 360x180 images!

Excellent work... (and I'm kinda picky about spherical images).

Biblioteca Vasconcelos is one of the most modern public libraries designed in the recent past. Looks like a scene from James Bond movie.
