Hell yes I have something that would be relevant!!

8)

excuse my enthusiasm.
it wasnt over an hour ago that I got the same idea but with a helicopter, and a camera that has an Xsynch socket for a remote shutter trigger.

as this is the p&s forum, can someone recommend a good p&s with an Xsynch socket?
I'm guessing the canon G9 or something.

but i would be willing to send my ol ist*D up on a good helicopter, that would leave two K10D's on the ground and really GREAT outdoor wedding ceremony coverage.

*no fly zone* over people and too close.....

there are my thoughts.

i just need to get a heavy duty remote helicopter.

I sometimes attach my pentax w20 to my kitesurfing kite. I set it to timer mode to take 1 shot every 15seconds or set it to vid camera mode. It works very well.

Only problem i can see on RC toys is the shake.

I think if you can get a heavy-duty enough RC chopper, you can engineer a stabilization box with it, but I think that might be getting TOO heavy.

I like this idea though.
