Interesting distortions caused by the glass panels in that reflection!
Yes, the distortion is interesting. Here's a closer look.

Middle Bay Light. No longer an active lighthouse. In the "middle" of Mobile Bay. Repaired and painted up for the umpteenth time in recent years. It attracts fish as a photo previous to the last paint job. Same camera actually. A speckle trout caught by my brother and fishing partner on a fishing trip to that location...

a world within a world ...

Original image is of the Manhattan skyline from the viewing platform of the Empire State Building in New York City. I decided to have some fun and change the image into a "little planet".

Taken with my Nikon P7000 and PP using PSE 9. If you ever have the chance to visit NYC, add the Empire St. Bldg. to your list - the view is quite spectacular.

This unusual sight caught my eye while strolling in downtown Toledo, OH. Didn't have my K-30 with me but I did have my wife's PS Sony DSC-H20. For a point and shoot, it does a pretty good job of capturing images..

Beautiful scene from the past.

As promised, a nighttime view on La Défense, Paris.

And its counterpart, the Arc de Triomphe

Finally, a view on Ooidonk castle in Flanders.

These were never meant to be in any competition (sorry for the hand )... just some vacation images using a Pana P&S from a visit to Rome late last year. Both are from the Vatican Museum...

Nice photographs. I like that little castle. That enigma of mine is the elevator with the doors just closing. All these are of where I work.
