M50 and V20

I am just about to purchase one of those two cameras.But i need to ask something about them before doing that.Is it possible to use the optical zoom while video recording.And if the answer is positive,can we adjust it during the recording or we should set it up before starting recording?I would love to have a quick response of you because i have to purchase a cam in the next couple of weeks.Thanks in advance.

You can use optical zoom only before movie recording,while the digital zoom is available both before and during recording.
