Summer Sky - Shot out the window of my Jeep with my brand new Fuji Instax 210 Wide. Fully automatic, no exposure compensation. Scanned on a cheapo multifunction printer, saturation and contrast tweaked in post.
What a great way to inaugurate a camera.

Fully automatic, no exposure compensation ... definitely in P&S - style.
A great summers evening, Erik.

Wasn't my first snap from that camera, but it was the first one I scanned Thanks!

Thank you!

If the Instax 210 is not a P&S camera, I'm afraid nothing is No manual controls, just lighten/darken, Auto flash/Flash on, and a choice of .9-3m focus range or 3m-infinity.

Truth be told I think I had it on .9-3m for my image, because I was in a hurry.

One of the under valued representatives of summer.
Great capture, barondla!

Last weekend of this contest is already coming up!
An occasion to capture some more summer scenes perhaps.

and the winner is ...

I want to start by thanking everyone that participated in this P&S competition!
Really fine entries, all true to the theme. Some of a more inventive approach and some with a more classic image.
Congratulations to all are in order.

Since the number of entries was rather low this time, I've restricted myself (painfully) to just call out the winner.

The image that gave me the best summer feel was entered by BigDave, Grandpa & Grandson.

Love the colours, the scene and the mood!

Congratulations, Dave!
It's now up to you to carry on this tradition and run the next Point & Shoot Competition.
Looking forward to it!
