RICOH WG-M2 question

I have the new RICOH WG-M2 action cam, and took it kayaking yesterday for its second activity test. I hadn't locked the waterproofing lens, and during a capsize, the les protector fell off. What is the best way to dry the camera out? I left it open overnight, and after closing it up, steam formed on the inside of the display.

Throw it in a bowl of rice overnight. This should suck out the moisture, and with a bit of luck, the internals haven't been damaged and you'll be able to continue using the camera. Just remember to lock the lens in the future

Thank you Adam. I remember hearing that about cell phones, so I opened it up, removed battery and memory card, and stuck it in a canister of rice for the night.
