Maybe I am missing something but the Theta gallery seems to accessible only to people with either FB or Twitter accounts.

Am I really required to first create a social account with another service or is this one of those times when it Appears this is necessary but there is some nearly hidden way to bypass it ?

If a social account is required, why not Pinterest ?

If FB is truly required, is there an alternative site that will display images from Theta ?

No FB or Twitter account required to view.
I guess it's assumed that if you are sharing your Theta images you will be doing so on a social network, FB or Twitter being the most likely which has 360 degree photo support.

Theta360.com uses facebook or twitter for authentication. So, to log in and share, you need to use your account on either of those two services.

This does not mean that you can only share your photos on facebook or twitter. Theta360.com is its own site and you can e-mail people links to your upload, and even embed a spherical widget on other sites/blogs (including the forum, using spherical tags).

I'm sorry Steve, I should have been more specific! 'Accessible' would reasonably mean to access the site and view images. I meant to post..

Adam, I haven't ever used FB as a method of consolidating different accounts. Wherever I have visited, I have opened a separate, local account.. I don't use Facebook so I had hoped there was some way to share images at the Theta site sans-a-book.

Steve, I won't share these images broadly so asking [the few] people to install the viewing application might be the way to go. For me to go, I mean.
