These are very good, gt6plus. They are a great fit to the theme.

It appears the Q7 worked well as a travel companion.

Circuit taken with Pentax Q w#01 normal lens and Lensbaby +4 & +10 closeup lenses combined. ISO 125, 1/250 @ f6.3.

thanks for looking.

These are both great! I never imagined that the Lensbaby would work so well with the Q.

I plan to try this combo in the near future. Thanks!

Round #2. Taken with my RX100 in aperture priority. I desaturated in Flickr (it didnt actually need it) and rotated/cropped in Snapseed for Android.

Another fine entry! So simple, but, so very effective in matching the theme.

The "Round" competition is officially closed.

I am in the process of the most difficult task of judging a winner.

Be back with the results soon

Results for the "Round" competition

Judging results: most difficult due to all the amazingly creative entries seen this month. Therefore, entirely subjective on my part. You can see how late it is getting and I do apologize for the delay.

Honorable Mention: Eriks' lens gallery. The more I looked at this the more rounds and curves I found. A great idea with such an interesting subject.

3rd place: zmans' bubble abstract. I really liked the abstract feel with all the round shapes and colors. As an added bonus you shared a "making of photo" that included round elements.

2nd place: Serendipity by UncleVanya. The geometrics really drew my eye into the image and emphasized the center round elements. Just a well balanced and pleasing image.

1st place and host for November: zman for his Autumn Orb. This creative edit resulted in a symmetrical round abstract that was just beautiful to my eyes.

A big Thank You! to all who entered. You are all winners and very creative people. I enjoyed seeing what you came up with and learned quite a bit along the way!

I look forward to seeing what Zman has in store for our next competition.

I'm honored and happy to be included. The competition was amazing and the great shots that were available to pick from were so varied.
Congrats to Zman - that image was my favorite as well.

Congratulations to all the winners, and zman in particular. Excellent contest. Can't wait to see what zman's contest will be like.

chemtech, I only used the Lensbaby closeup filters on the Q #01 normal lens. Didn't use a complete LB lens. I had so much LB stuff that a 40.5 to 37mm step down adapter was all I needed. Works great. I have used the LB Composer on the Q. With the crop, that is harder.

I'm thrilled my lenses got an honorable mention, though honestly I think my second photo had more merit. Can't wait for the next one!

Congrats to the winners and thanks to Barondla for playing host and judging!
