Point and Shoot competition #111

TRACKS IN LANDSCAPE

I myself am mainly a landscape photographer because I just love nature. For this challenge I would like to see photos of the nature you live in or nearby and then I want you to look specifically for tracks in the landscape. They might be natural tracks, made by animals or man-made.
You'll have time till the end of April and I will judge May 2 or 3 because I'm away the last weekend of April.

The almost usual rules:

1. Have lots of fun!

2. Cameras:

No cameras with sensors larger than 1".
No large format or camera typically requiring a tripod to use.
No interchangeable lens cameras.
No 35mm (D)SLRs or any camera weighing over 1kg.

Cameras permitted (cameras listed as acceptable here supersede rules above):
Mobile phones, old and new, iPods, tablets, toy cameras.
Fixed-lens 35mm and smaller-format film and digital cameras (Fuji X100 and GR OK).
Interchangeable or fixed-lens 110film SLRs and Pentax Q.

ANY CAMERA BRAND ALLOWED.

3. Entries will close APRIL 30, 2017 at Midnight (EDT).

4. Maximum image dimensions are 1024x768 (ish) pixels.

5. List camera brand and model with entry for all to see, and exposure data would be nice.

6. No restrictions on when the entries were taken.

7. Contest winner determines the rules, selects theme, sets closing date and judges the next competition.

8. Enter up to three images, however you may change your entries as many times as you like up to the contest closing date/time.

Great theme, and I do love wild landscapes--although I might have to make my own tracks! Then ant tracks are pretty discrete, too, so who would know! Do butterflies make tracks? Is a vortex a track, or a scent? Lots of creative possibilities...

My start was with Urban Landscape, which is what I see everyday. I'm adding one from the same walk, suburban botanical. Interesting topic to think about as you walk a day. So this is Magnolia and Dandelion tracks... My entry will be the last 3, whichever they are. We need more here! iPhone 7...

Nice photos David. It's always interesting to see how others interpret an assignment. To me photos 1 and 3 look rather like marks than tracks.

#1 Contractor tracks (boot prints there)
#2 Future tracks, or Shadow tracks (fleeting, but still)
#3 Love tracks...

I had fun with it, great to think about...

I really like the mood in your Rain Tracks, barondla.
Excellent geometrical patterns in the Car Tracks.
