Thanks for everybody's feedback.
Some thoughts in my head currently;
- The Ricoh GRII is 250g. Even if i had to get the OVF and attach (or remove to make it pocketable and add on for those occasions that I really wanted it), it kinda ticks a lot of boxes.
- But I'm also heading down the road of taking future jobs in photography, I will need a secondary decent camera in case a special event like a wedding my K-1 decides to die!
- My K-50 is getting repaired, it's not really up to the job as a secondary camera, but I noticed the KP is also roughly the same weight as the K-50 (650g) and is up to the task (of something like a wedding, whereas the GRII can't be soley used on an event like that).
- Having gotten institutionalized to the weight of the K-1, I couldn't believe how light he K-50 felt to me the other day when I went to post it for repair.
Perhaps I need to bury this notion of a small compact camera like the GRII and instead invest in a better secondary shooter body and permanently have something like the DA21mm F3.2 HD Limited fixed to it. I'm betting some kind of Arcaswiss quick release belt clip might exist for my second shooter...
I think once I have two decent dslr's... then and only then should I start pissing about thinking I can afford to get a pocket friendly shooter... :'(
