Pentax Q w Pentax toy wideangle lens. Bug on screen wasn't quite dramatic enough so Used PSE to add spherical distortion.

I'm not used to ranking art, and I must say it is hard and rather frustrating! Too many worthy entries... but here goes!

#3 The strict and robust lines and angles from paulh is mercilessly striking as the viewer gets pulled into darkness.

#2 Jacquot's shadowy multitude of lines is almost abstract in its form, the stability of the verticals battling the destabilising diagonals.

#1 The winner for me is the journey through the wormhole Congrats to @kwb!

Thanks to all participants for making my job a very difficult one, and best of luck to kwb with hosting the next one!

Wow, thank you all for wonderful entries, and congratulations Jacquot and paulh! I thoroughly enjoyed your pictures, and learned so much. I'm ready to borrow your composition ideas haha!

Thank you very much savoche for this great theme and for picking my picture. Among so many worthy contenders, I feel extremely honored. And this is a personal thing, but you made an announcement on the same day many scientists around the world (including me) made a big announcement (see e.g. the link below), and I think that my picture is kind-of-sort-of fitting. You made me doubly happy, thank you!

I'll think about the new theme and post it soon, stay tuned!
