You'll have to forgive me, but I am going to indulge in judges privileges here. I am going to take a day or two to post my picks. I must say that everyone posted photos to be proud of no matter what camera was used. Gee, I guess what they say about the person behind the lens is really true.

Hey, I may be difficult but I've never been called hard.

I'm always johnny-on-the-spot in posting winners promptly on those honored occasions I've had to run a challenge. I just can't swing it right now and do it the way I would like.

This round of the Point and Shoot contest had some really great submissions. I love this one from Bart.

Bill's Beta fish are excellent

And Peter's row of honey bears draws me in.

Chris's shot of the Botanical Garden in Balboa Park, San Diego is a stunner. Is it almost cheating to use that camera?

Simon's shot of the zebra makes me laugh. What a great shot!

But my favorite of the whole lot is Mike's image. I'm partial to bridges, walkways and the beach/water and this is an excellent image that has it all. I'm passing the baton to you now Mike.

Thanks to all of you for entering the Point and Shoot Contest. I hope you stay tuned and keep entering.

Thanks for the zebra getting getting an 'honorable mention'. It is on my second desktop screen at work and gives a laugh to everyone around - of course everything can't believe I (my wife actually) took the shot - they say it is too professional looking.

Also unfortunately the camera is one step away from being pitched unless someone can answer my other forum posting here so this will probably be my one and only contest application here! Congrats to the winner - wish I could be there right now.
