Point and Shoot Competition #122 - Celebrate Spring!

Hi all, the theme for this contest is "Celebrate Spring!".

I got frost on the car window this morning, but I pretend that winter is over! Regardless of the season as of now where you live, please submit pictures that you think celebrate the arrival of spring, the season of warmth. It could be people, wild life, plants, landscape, street, really anything.

Rules:

1. Always have fun!

2. Cameras:

No cameras with sensors larger than 1" (some exceptions below).
No large format or camera typically requiring a tripod to use.
No interchangeable lens cameras (some exceptions below).
No 35mm (D)SLRs or any camera weighing over 1kg.

Cameras permitted (cameras listed as acceptable here supersede rules above):
Mobile phones, old and new, iPods, tablets, toy cameras.
Fixed-lens 35mm and smaller-format film and digital cameras (Fuji X100 and GR OK).
Interchangeable or fixed-lens 110film SLRs and Pentax Q.

ANY CAMERA BRAND ALLOWED.

3. Entries will close March 31, 2018 midnight Pacific Time.

4. Maximum image dimensions are 1024x768 (ish) pixels.

5. List camera brand and model with entry for all to see, and exposure data would be nice.

6. No restrictions on when the entries were taken.

7. Contest winner determines the rules, selects theme, sets closing date and judges the next competition.

8. Enter up to three images, however you may change your entries as many times as you like up to the contest closing date/time.

Let's participate and have fun!

Thanks,
kwb

pink ...

Still too much snow on the ground for tulips to pop up, but I couldn't resist taking a few shots of a bouquet of tulips my wife brought home.

Panasonic LX100 captured RAW and post-processed using ACR and PSE9

Nice series, showing off the arrival of spring, Bart! As a kid I somehow really really loved furry bud of pussy willows.

Definitely feels like spring, John.
Sometimes the seasons are harder to notice in a city.

I've swapped the 3rd entry from my previous post with this one

Panasonic FX500, f/2.8 @ 4.4 mm, 1/1000, ISO 100

from a bit further in spring: May

Sorry, can't help it that they are always so cute. I have 4 lambs now of which one I need to bottle feed, because his mom rejects him.
Two ewes down, 7 more ewes to go, so I probably will have Easter lambs in stead of bunnies. LOL

Edit to add: Oh and I almost forgot to say that I love all entries so far. Beautiful photos.

I liked the original but I like this one even better, that looks very pretty. ;-)

Hard to argue (and look at that big fluffy hair ball (mother?), somehow that made me smile).

Excellent entries so far everybody, keep'em coming!
