Point and Shoot Competition #130 - Holiday season

Since it's that time of the year again

You can interpret this in the broadest sense to include whatever 'Holiday' is important to you.
Can be decorations at home, in streets, in shops, in churches, ..., people interacting, scenes you associate with the season, etc.

Rules:

1. Always have fun!

2. Cameras:

No cameras with sensors larger than 1" (some exceptions below).
No large format or camera typically requiring a tripod to use.
No interchangeable lens cameras (some exceptions below).
No 35mm (D)SLRs or any camera weighing over 1kg.

Cameras permitted (cameras listed as acceptable here supersede rules above):
Mobile phones, old and new, iPods, tablets, toy cameras.
Fixed-lens 35mm and smaller-format film and digital cameras (Fuji X100 and GR OK).
Pentax Q, Nikon 1, interchangeable or fixed-lens 110 film.

ANY CAMERA BRAND ALLOWED.

3. Entries will close December 31, 2018 midnight EDT.

4. Maximum image dimensions are 1024x768 (ish) pixels.

5. List camera brand and model with entry for all to see, and exposure data would be nice.

6. No restrictions on when the entries were taken.

7. Contest winner determines the rules, selects theme, sets closing date and judges the next competition.

8. Enter up to three images, however you may change your entries as many times as you like up to the contest closing date/time.

Some idea's

Looking forward to your entries!

I hardly ever make photos where Christmas and/or New Year are the subject, but I decorate my house a little, because I do like candle light, I do like the old and not complete Christmas figurines I once got from a good friend and I do make mulled wine at New Year's Eve.

I truly hope there will be much more entries, I always love the American way of outside Christmas decorations.

Not an entry for the contest, but I just stumbled upon this dear old photo (obviously not taken by me, I'm the little one in the middle) and together with this little poem I want to wish all my Pentax friends a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Thanks for your lovely entries, David!

To my surprise, this theme seems to attract fewer participants.

Don't think it is the theme, Bart. It is time of year. Very busy for most people. All the different music forums I visit are also way down in posts this month.
Thanks,
barondla

You're probably right, barondla.
It's indeed a lot more quiet in most places I visit - on the internet
